This page is about what a stay here costs and what that price includes. Rates move with the season and with how full the hotel is, so the honest answer for your dates is the live one — check availability and the price you see is the price you pay.

What is included in every room

These are not extras and they are not charged for:

• Wi-Fi
• Heating, and air conditioning
• Tea and coffee in the room
• A television, a minibar and a hair dryer

Most rooms have a balcony. Views differ by room — lake, mountain or valley — and if a particular one matters to you, say so when booking rather than hoping on arrival.

How to pay less

• Travel in the shoulder season. Rates are lowest outside the summer peak, and Hunza in spring blossom or autumn colour is arguably the better trip anyway.
• Stay longer. Ask about the rate for several nights rather than booking them one at a time.
• Book direct. Booking on this site means no agency commission sitting on top of the room rate.
• Ask about groups. If you are a family or a party travelling together, contact us rather than booking separate rooms at the published rate.

What you are paying for

Villa Darya is rated 4.7 out of 5 by its guests. It is in Shishkat, on the Karakoram Highway, 5 km from Attabad Lake — a location that puts most of what people come to Upper Hunza to see within a short drive. The rooms are comfortable and properly heated, which in this valley is not a given.

We are not the cheapest bed in Hunza and do not claim to be. The aim is that the room is worth what it costs.

Booking and cancellation

Check-in is from 2pm, check-out by 11am. Both are flexible when the room allows it — ask on the day. Our policies set out cancellation terms in full.
